Q 5: Is it permissible for a Muslim to dance and sing?

A: It is not permissible for Muslim men to dance or sing. However, it is permissible for women to sing at wedding celebrations with words that do not contain suggestive lyrics, courtship, or Fitnah (temptation) among women present in the audience. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
