A married woman's work

Q 2: What is the ruling on married women's work?

A: It is not permissible for women to work in a place where they intermix with men, whether they are married or unmarried, because Allah (Glorified be He) created men with an inclination towards women and women towards men. With the existence of this weakness in them, if there is intermixing it will result in Fitnah (temptation), which will lead to immortality, because the human self incites to evil. However, it is permissible for a woman to work in a place where there is no intermixing with men, if her husband permits her to do so. (Part No. 17; Page No. 235) May Allah grant us success.
