A man who cannot make Kaffarah for involuntary manslaughter due to his old age


A: If your father is neither able to free a Muslim slave due to his poverty nor to fast due to his illness, he will be held responsible for the Kaffarah of involuntary manslaughter until he can afford it when Allah grants him recovery. (Part No. 21; Page No. 353) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
