A fetus dying after the umbilical cord is cut before he is out
A: If the baby died as a result of what you have mentioned, which is cutting the umbilical cord without tying it, the woman who did this should offer a Kaffarah (expiation) of unintentional homicide. She must free a bondsman, and if she finds none, she must fast for two consecutive months.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
