A father asking his son to bring him cigarettes
A: It is not permissible for you to buy cigarettes for your father even if he asks you to do so. This is because there is no obedience to any created being (person) if it involves disobedience to the Creator. Moreover, you should treat your father kindly and honorably. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
